Macy’s Partners With Mommy Niri Cares To Help Room To Grow!

When Macy’s asked whether I wanted to host a local get together my mind was still rattling with ideas to help other people. So when I thought it would be nice to instead focus on helping one of my favorite local organizations, Room To Grow. I met up with a few bloggers over coffee in Burlington mall and we chatted. I have to admit that it was really nice to sit down and get to talk in real life.

Since Macy’s was keen to make sure people knew about their upcoming (at the time) tree lighting in Boston they agreed to donate items for every post mention about the tree lighting and I was thrilled to have bloggers who attended and some who could not make it all mention the lighting. I hope to get more done to help organizations like local charity Room To Grow. Here’s a bit about them:

Room to grow provides parents raising babies in poverty with one-on-one parenting support and essential baby items throughout their children’s critical first three years of life.

Thanks to Kristen, Kerri, Lynn, Christine, Kate, Jodi, and Kim for  their support in this.
Oh, also don’t forget Macy’s has more philanthropic activities.Kid got a letter for Santa?  Macy’s “Believe” campaign is back this year for a fourth year (over 4 million letters collected in the first three years) with their wonderful campaign. Until December 24, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for each letter to Santa that is dropped off at Macy’s “Believe Stations.” Get writing.
Also stay tuned to our Facebook fanpage as we will be posting pictures of our donation drop offs. I would love to thank Macy’s for partnering with me and sponsoring this endeavor.
