Times are tough, in fact tougher than ever. As I write this our home is actually another jobless one but my focus is way beyond that this year. I think of many who have no meals and rely on others for one. In fact when you need help most is probably the best time to focus on those who have less than you. It was with this thought in mind that we embarked on the latest project.
Mommy Niri Cares, assisted by a small group of volunteer friends, will be cooking, feeding, and cleaning up after, dinner at the Framingham Miracle Kitchen This provides meals to around 100 people in need. The Salvation Army’s Miracle Kitchen serves dinner weekdays at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5. Everyone is welcomed. This will take place on November 4th 2011.
While we will be doing all the work and footing most of the costs, I have reached out to a few of my favorite brands to see if they were keen to help out with some products. I will be updating this page periodically.
