The World’s Largest Bake Sale To End Hunger!

What do you get when you bring Sandra Lee, Emeril, Mario Batali, Lidia Bastianich and Rosanna Scotto together?  The World’s Largest Bake Sale, of course, taking place in historic Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal in New York City next Tuesday from 11:30am-7pm .  But it’s not just any event.  It’s a fundraising event, sponsored by Pyrex, to benefit The Food Bank of New York, featuring sweet and savory baked goods from thirty of New York’s most well-respected chefs and restaurants, including six from Grand Central Terminal. This event will be the impetus for ancillary events happening simultaneously that day in every state in the country to raise funds for local area food banks throughout the United States.

Sandra, who is passionately committed to providing support to America’s food banks, organized this event in collaboration with her friends and fellow food industry icons Batali, Bastianich, Lagasse and Scotto.
